Atonio or Antonio?[edit]

In the official U.S. Reports, the case's name is "Atonio" but in countless websites, journals, books, and contemporary newspaper articles, the case is referred to as "Antonio." This means either 1. "Atonio" is a printer's error on the part of the Supreme Court Reporter à la Dred Scott v. "Sandford" or Minersville v. "Gobitis" (the defendants were actually named Sanford and Gobitas) or 2. the use of "Antonio" in all the various articles, pages, and books stems from carelessness and Antonio being a more common and familiar name (à la the frequent mistake of referring to Justice Ginsburg as "Ginsberg", the more common spelling). Does anyone know which is the real spelling of the defendant's name? 141.166.156.229 (talk) 06:19, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
