Warsaw Rifles reference - what is the history?[edit]

In reading the article "Levi Aldrich, Early Pipestone Settler with True Pioneer Spirit" on the Pipestone, Minnesota Historical Society website at http://www.pipestoneminnesota.com/museum/history/levialdrichatruepi/, the article states that Mr. Aldrich enlisted with the "Warsaw Rifles", which I assume to have originated from the town of Warsaw, MN. I base this conclusion upon the fact that after being mustered out of the army in 1865 (again per the Historical Society's article), he returned to Warsaw, which is in Rice County. Per the article he "arrived in Pipestone from Faribault in 1879, . . ", Faribault being the county seat of Rice County. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dan Aquinas (talkcontribs) 21:37, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
