Duncan and Burt Reynolds[edit]

Somewhat trivial, and not really relevant for the article, but the Shakespeare-fanatic Duncan used to tell students, perhaps jokingly, that he recommended acting to Reynolds because he thought Burt would make a fine Shakespearean actor, and when he saw the comedy/action direction Reynolds took instead, Duncan regretted his advice. 207.38.172.146 (talk) 23:39, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
