it may be a hoax, but it's a hoax picked up on international news [1]. --dab (𒁳) 15:28, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, not a hoax, and also not announced in April. It's been known about since the start of this year. I'm trying to find dated references for that. Canterbury Tail talk 13:49, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The WePad (WeTab?) has some serious problems. According to the WePad facebook page, the Atom CPU is inadequate for an iPad-like device and the GPU is weak as well. The WePad will run an Android emulator, so the overall speed will be even less than a native Android OS. To top it off, the WePad won't have access to the Android marketplace. And this is supposed to be an iPad killer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.58.251.147 (talk) 16:37, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

change of name[edit]

I'm not that competent in En.wiki but there was a change in the name. I created a redirect, would be great if someone of you guys may "move" the article and adjust the information. Thanks --WissensDürster (talk) 13:02, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
