Improvement needed to lede[edit]

The phrasing and content in the second sentence of this article's lede comes across as promotional rather than educational. Recommend replacing the rental data with a summary of the historic content. (The rental data, if deemed necessary, may then be moved to the body of the article.) Also recommend that more citations be added (different from/in addition to those currently present).
