Does the article identify individuals caught up in the nets of the Department of Justice, as criminals running a Ponzi scheme? Why would the DOJ feel it responsible to place such information here in the Wikipedia? What purpose is served by referring only to the outcome of a rigged plea bargain, when the sentencing authority did not lower the level of punishment despite full cooperation from both defendants? And what authority allows the public shaming of individuals tried and sentenced in this way?Another brother (talk) 05:29, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

I found one more source in The Guardian. However, I'm still not convinced that this is a notable crime; seems more like WP:NOT#NEWS. --B. Wolterding (talk) 22:37, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

$31 million here, $31 million there, pretty soon you are talking about real money. But in any case, being members of the exclusive club belonging to to FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list confirms notability. Gene Nygaard (talk) 15:48, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So what happened?[edit]

What was the plea bargain? Was it accepted? What sentence? Gene Nygaard (talk) 15:48, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
