Wu should be capitalized[edit]

Since Wu （武） is referring to a key concept, which means a proper noun, it should be capitalized. ChenDaoIsHere (talk) 02:37, 14 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User:ChenDaoIsHere, I agree that the title (and the first sentence) look imbalanced due to our transliteration of 文 getting a capital letter due to sentence casing. Being a key concept doesn't make these proper nouns though. The article is deliberately not focused in that regard, talking about the terms both as posthumous epithets – where they are proper nouns – and as common terms.

Personally I feel like if we capitalise both transliterations (whether just in the title or in each instance) it would feel like we're always talking about them just as epithets while not addressing their usage outside names, and specifically the title would make me think of 周文王 and 周武王.
