Who sacked her? Murdoch or Maxwell?[edit]

I'm a little confused. In the back of my mind I had thought it was Murdoch who sacked Henry, as implied by the Murdoch quote. But the two other refs I've just added suggest she was sacked by Maxwell. Which is right?--94.196.8.199 (talk) 20:55, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've now removed the Murdoch quote and reference to her sacking from the Sunday People. This is because the People was a Mirror Group paper so she could not have been sacked by Murdoch while there.--93.95.104.42 (talk) 16:00, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think Wendy is currently heading up the fostering department at the Mayhew Animal Home. This might be included in the main article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.134.104.215 (talk) 22:15, 6 May 2009 (UTC) My name is Wendy Henry and I would like to correct a few things on my Wikipedia page. Although a member of the International Socialists in my youth I was never a member of the International Communist League I resigned from The News of the World following editorial differences with Mr Murdoch but stayed in his employment as Deputy Editor of The Sun before taking up the editorship of the Sunday People.I was fired from the Sunday People by Robert Maxwell on the request of Prince Charles after publishing a picture of Prince William as a schoolboy taking a pee in the park! I remained friends with Mr Murdoch and a number of years later was re-employed by him as Managing Editor of America's first tabloid TV show A Current Affair. I was never employed as a Press Officer at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. I started as a P.A. to the then CEO Colonel Duncan Green. After awhile I moved to work in the Home's treatment kennels before setting up their Foster-A-Dog scheme and becoming Battersea's Foster Dog Co-ordinator. After seven years I moved on to do the same thing at The Mayhew Animal Home, a smaller London Cat & Dog Rescue Centre. I now work for All Dogs Matter a charity that rescues dogs from pounds that are due to be put to sleep and rehomes them. I am the charity's Foster Dog Co-ordinator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.103.151.181 (talk) 20:41, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
