I work in the BYU Library and I created this page as part of my paid work as Wikipedian-in-Residence there. Back in 2018, I asked our university librarian, Jennifer Pastenbaugh, for feedback on my work. She asked me if I could create Wikipedia pages for all the prophets' wives within the LDS Church. After doing some research, I told her that most of them were not notable and wouldn't pass Wikipedia's notability guidelines, with the exception of Wendy Watson Nelson and I think one other prophet's wife (oh, and Emma Smith, duh). I mention it because most internal requests for Wikipedia work for my team usually come from curators in special collections. Pastenbaugh has since passed away, and we have a different university librarian now. My team did work on the page about Brigham Young's wives later and pages for some of them, but it wasn't in response to this request. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 17:17, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
