Hitler's temporary blindness[edit]

Many historians seem to agree that Hitler was temporarily blinded by British gas shells while at Wervicq-Sud in October 1918. A fact worthy of mention in the article. Hitler mentions it himself in Mein Kampf, but other sources back up the basic facts of the case. Whether the blindness was caused by injury or was entirely 'hysterical' in origin is disputed.
