New Article[edit]

Starting this article. It is intended to be part of a series of articles that includes the 21st Century modernisation of the Great Western Main Line, the Midland Main Line upgrade etc GRALISTAIR (talk) 13:56, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is proposed that the article is heavily referenced to make it truly encyclopedic but also that much of the technical stuff is separated out to make it inclusive for those without knowledge of the subject GRALISTAIR (talk) 14:37, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well another editor has added a whole new category- railway upgrades, so I guess that vindicates the decision to do this article GRALISTAIR (talk) 18:45, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bottlenecks[edit]

There is no list of bottlenecks on the WCML.

140mph running[edit]

The WCML has trains capable of 140mph. Signalling restricts them to 125. No mention of this .2A01:4B00:BB18:A600:E738:4C0D:38F4:6829 (talk) 11:41, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
