I think this article was nominated for deletion without much consideration. It is a needed article, on a relevant active labor group and it currently is a dead link from the main AFL-CIO wiki. 90% of the historical information has now been removed anyway, so I'm not sure what deleting 2 facts would accomplish now. The original text, though some language neutrality may have been questionable, for the most part was just historical information on the organization. I will revamp, with newspaper citations the next opportunity I get but much of the early information is really only available from the organization itself since newspaper archives access going back 50 years can be problematic. That point has been mooted in the meantime, the article isn't up for deletion, and the versions which did contain copyrighted materials have been removed from the article's history. The only thing going forward is to avoid copy / pasting information from third parties ;) MLauba (talk) 13:16, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info. MLauba. Hopefully I can further improve the article over the next few days. Tinyarmada (talk) 17:18, 4 August 2009 (UTC)TinyArmada[reply]
