biggest in Europe[edit]

I'm sceptical that it will be the biggest in Europe as Cevahir Mall seems to be urban, in Europe, and considerably larger - it probably would be the biggest shopping centre in the EU though (provided that something else doesn't get built or expanded first). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Escottf (talk • contribs) 22:30, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - confused here - the link you give states "Cevahir Shopping Centre has a total gross area of 420,000 square metres (4,521,000 sq ft)" - while stratford will have "Total retail floor area 2,900,000 square feet (269,000 m2)"

All above points are moot, MetroCentre is largest in EU with the Cevahir Mall being the largest in Europe. 193.128.72.68 (talk)

Westfield London (NOT Stratford)[edit]

I know nothing about shopping centres, but do not understand why Westfield London is not on the list. The main Westfield London page tells us that after the extension was opened, it became the largest shopping centre (mall) in Europe.
