One-sided editing[edit]

Westwood is no longer involved in any class action cases. Editors continue to attack this entry with one-sided information and negative implications. This page needs balance and accuracy.

Really? It seems like we've found a stable balance. I thought your addition of that sentence was a good one to show that Burnett was not charged (only the columnist implicated his involvement, so I think your sentence is accurate enough). I appreciate the scrutiny and collaborative process of these edits. JamaUtil (talk) 14:46, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WOL[edit]

Westwood Online redirects here yet Westwood Online is a online gaming service run by the now defunct Westwood Studios, not a college.--4.245.79.41 (talk) 16:17, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

George Burnett[edit]

The involvement of George Burnett at Westwood College and/or Alta Colleges, Inc. (the parent company) has been going back and forth. Burnett is not listed on the Westwood Colleges website, however that is for the college and not the parent company. Burnett is listed as CEO of Alta Colleges, Inc. in Businessweek, but that citation was removed with the edit summary that it is outdated. However, looking at the Alta Colleges Form D filed with the SEC on October 13, 2011, Burnett is listed as a director of the parent company. There is clearly an involvement that continues to exist. 72Dino (talk) 22:04, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The saddest part of this really trivial issue is that User talk:AdagioMan appears to know exactly what Burnett's current position is, but this editor is instead just trying to advance his POV by pretending Burnett has no current tie to the Westwood. Thanks for providing the link to edgar. JamaUtil (talk) 15:56, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, not only does every source I've found list him as CEO, his LinkedIn profile says he's currently CEO as well....so.... JamaUtil (talk) 16:06, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Seen note about Burnett joining as CEO and board member of another college (scroll down to see info): http://www.ncu.edu/about-northcentral/our-people/board-members He is not listed as a current board member at Westwood: http://www.westwood.edu/why-westwood/about-us/leadership-team — Preceding unsigned comment added by AdagioMan (talkcontribs) 20:25, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

He is the CEO of Alta, the parent company of Westwood, no one disputes this (or has ever disputed this). JamaUtil (talk) 22:38, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tighten up the Graphics on Level 3[edit]

Any particular reason why this hasn't been included as a significant cultural reference? — Gorba (talk) 17:58, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
