Chart[edit]

Is it really necessary in this article? Right the article is almost entirely a chart too. It really seems like the information would be better represented in regular paragraph form...Sergecross73 msg me 19:46, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wii U games[edit]

Two new games for the Wii series will be made this year for the Wii U. They Are: Wii Fit U (http://e3.nintendo.com/games/#/wiiu/wiifit-u) and Wii U™ Panorama View (http://e3.nintendo.com/games/#/wiiu/panorama-view) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.19.79.26 (talk) 22:30, 10 June 2012 (UTC) 174.19.79.26 (talk) 22:36, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming.[edit]

I was thinking, shouldn't this article be called "Wii (series)", and not "Wii (video game series)"?--Horai 551 11:30, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No reason was given in the move otherwise, so I see no reason why not. Could probably be a speedy move. --Izno (talk) 13:23, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Articles such as Grand Theft Auto, Halo (series), Worms (series), Tony Hawk (series) and Pikmin (series) all use series opposed to video game series. However, articles such as Rush (video game series) don't. I say we change it to "Series" from "video game series".126.122.68.61 (talk) 08:29, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think that with the release of Wii U, some may consider there to be a Wii console series as well as a Wii game series. That's the only issue I have with a move.--Coin945 (talk) 10:16, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Ah. Consoles aren't generally spoken of in that manner, but I see what you mean. --Izno (talk) 14:30, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Street U and Panoramic view[edit]

There listed as two separate games. Aren't they the same thing?67.3.141.88 (talk) 18:53, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is Nintendo Switch Sports a Wii series game?[edit]

It's a direct sequel to Wii Sports, which is definitively in the Wii series. However, it uses no Wii branding, and is called Nintendo Switch Sports. Is it in the same series as the rest? VinMannie (talk) 23:09, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Direct announcement stated it was a follow-up to the Wii Sports games, so I think it's worth putting in this article. At worst, I could see it being labeled as a "spin-off" if the lack of Wii branding technically puts it outside of the series. Bobbysq (talk) 00:13, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
