Notability of chapters[edit]

Wikimedia chapters aren't automatically notable, but this one is notable four times over: as part of Internet culture in Germany, of the history of Wikipedia and Wikimedia, a significant presence in policy and education discussions in the country, and a notable organization and entity in its own right, regularly in national and european press.[1] – SJ + 04:52, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing[edit]

Pity an article about Wikimedia is so poorly sourced.--Ipigott (talk) 09:27, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Summit[edit]

The 2024 Wikimedia Summit is supposed to be the last one hosted by Wikimedia Deutschland, so at the very least that should affect how it is referred to in the article. Citation for this ending would be good; also, when it was started (as the Wikimedia Conference). - Jmabel | Talk 19:03, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know whether meta:Wikimedia Summit is considered citeable in this respect. - Jmabel | Talk 19:05, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
