Would anyone object to an article rewrite?[edit]

I have no idea why, but I find Whitehouse's rise and fall fascinating. I've realized that there are enough reliable sources for what could be a Good Article. Would anyone be willing to work with me on a rewrite? Andrew327 23:34, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He's certainly made out to be a dissolute sort in John Griesemer's novel "Signal and Noise". Perhaps some "fair and balanced" coverage is in order. --Wtshymanski (talk) 02:38, 3 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What I've read paints a more mixed picture. He is at least partially responsible for the failure of the first trans-Atlantic cable, but there were other factors as well, and not many people in the world at that point actually understood the physics behind telegraphy.
