Stilwell[edit]

Several sources state that he was on Stillwell's staff, worked intel, some claim a Bronze star; none of which I've found so far contemporaneously. I'd ordinarily guess his surname was simplified at some point, but his father Alexander shows up under that spelling in 1912. Another possibility: several people in similar roles wound up as demi-spooks toward the end of WWII, William Kwan Toy, for instance. Anmccaff (talk) 20:15, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
