Gazette search results[edit]

Some of these entries will give the same information currently referenced to The Times, however, the Gazette is the original (reprinted by The Times), and doesn't require subscription. David Underdown (talk) 13:43, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's also more information in his Who Was Who entry which I can get access to, which supplements his early military career. I will find the time to add it soon. Sam Blacketer (talk) 14:10, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The one problem with Who's Who is that the subject provides the info themself - given the information in there, The Times and the Gazette, it should be possible to reach something definitive. David Underdown (talk) 14:47, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

B-Class[edit]

This article could make B-class if you can find images or an infobox. Cheers, ṜέđṃάяķvюĨїήīṣŢ Drop me a line 16:18, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Images may be difficult but I've put an infobox on. Noting the concerns above about Who's Who, I checked contemporary Army Lists (which would have been checked against service records) for details of his early Army career. Sam Blacketer (talk) 21:43, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
