Questioned birth date[edit]

The IMDB states that Mr.Sanderson was born 1944, this article states 1948. Somebody care to verify Mr.Sanderson's birth date? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.64.79.59 (talk) 17:35, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The possible stated birth date of 1948 in this article was in error. I have deleted it. He served as a medic in Vietnam, per the extensive 2000 interview in a fan blog that received editorial oversight, and upon return to Tennessee, attended and graduated from Memphis State. Had he been born in 1948, he could not have graduated in 1968, especially after serving in Vietnam. I've provided the cited URL for the article which contains a wealth of information about him. Note that William Sanderson did voice the Batman Animated Series character Karl Rossum. In 1977, when he had the lead role in "Fight For Your Life," his day job was bartending at Googies, a joint that is still on Sullivan Street in Greenwich Village under the name "the Pinch Bar." After he left Googie's he tended at the Lady Astor bar across the street from the Public Theater -- now an Asian restaurant.
