Double Earl?[edit]

According to the article Thomas Wentworth, 1st Earl of Strafford Thomas was created Earl, but then became Earl of the first creation in addition when his father's attainder was repealed. Did this mean he held two distinct earldoms simultaneously, or are they considered the same? Hairy Dude (talk) 04:42, 22 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
