ADHD

Say something about the fact he takes Ritalin for ADHD and this fact supposedly excuses his off-field antics...

Returned article to NPOV.

Be aware that New Zealanders have a vendetta against Willie and have been defaming him through this page.

lol, sounds like somebody doesn't like NZers himself! haha, must have been an ozzie who wrote that?! Mathmo Talk 03:13, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, I'm living in NZ myself, and it was a good thing that Dave Kidwell gave a stern warning to Willie about disrespecting the haka. But I'm not the best person to judge.

Anyways, which position can Willie be when he plays American Football? TimHowardII 09:00, 24 January 2007 (UTC)TimHowardII

Changes

Article has had material removed several times without explanation, obviously a major target for vandalism. Also may include million dollar contract offer when I look to edit the article. Londo06 06:57, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Controversy

Do we really need the controversy section, I'm not sure it adds much to the article. Grizzlybear82 08:47, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Nationality

Can we add a bit about his nationality. He was born in New Zealand but he plays for Australia and is listed in this article as being an Australian Rugby League player. Did he become an Australian citizen? brob 10:23, 30 September 2007 (UTC) hmmm... it says he was born in Toronto, NSW now. Yet on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brent_Webb it says Mason was born in Auckland. brob (talk) 11:03, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Updating this article

Considering this article is tagged as 'current' and that possibly more people will be accessing it for information than usual, in my opinion it needs a copy-edit and organised updating of information rather than more recent events simply being added on to the 'Move' section. These good faith edits, my attempt to improve/rationalise the article, were reverted. Does anyone have an opinion on the betterment of this article? ~ Florrie talk 12:26, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

No opinions? I'll go ahead with a clean-up over the next day or so. ~ Florrie talk 22:12, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

A happy medium needed to be found, rather than sticking all clubs that didn't sign Mason into one box it would be best to show some sort of timeline. It can be trimmed, but not cut altogether. Looks to me that has been done appropriately. CorleoneSerpicoMontana 01:54, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for at least coming to the discussion, even if it is two days after the event. The whole article needs a copy-edit, not just the 'move' section. On the move, now that the event is over, every club's expression of interest hardly needs to be chronicled individually. Although, if that is the preferred option, more detail needs to be included on the Australian clubs rather than a sentence or two and only one ref for the final signing compared to three refs for English maybe's who were never really in the running. The whole section is OTT, imo, and can be trimmed considerably. Additions to the bloke's actual footballing career would be appreciated, after all, he can play. ~ Florrie talk 05:43, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
The long section headed Roosters could be cut back considerably - at this point it seems irrelevant which other clubs were interested or the detail of who said what and when. It should just say he split with the Dogs, and why, and that he is now with the Roosters. Similarly the NFL section seems overdone - he didn't sign up with the NFL and there's no evidence he ever really came close to doing so. I would think his interest in NFL - and rugby union - should take up about one sentence. (Dean B (talk) 01:30, 10 March 2008 (UTC))

Removed 07 from infobox rep football as he is now a Rooster and will not be joining a Super League club. Londo06 18:03, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

Where it should have remained in the first place. WP is not a crystal ball. ~ Florrie talk 21:48, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
