Editorialized History[edit]

I feel it is inappropriate that the history section of the Wimberley article assumes knowledge of the characters and emotions of key figures in the town's history without referencing the primary sources, such as personal correspondence, letters, and diaries neccessary to even justify speculation let alone present it as fact. Similarly the first paragraph romanticizes and mythologizes Native American settlement of the area in a typically stereotypical way that offers no relevant information to Wimberley's history or even the history of the tribes present in the area but repeats a sort of nostaligic, romantic fiction that perpetuates false and sometimes damaging assumptions about native peoples. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.230.222.238 (talk) 15:12, 8 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Conservative label[edit]

The source did not support the known as a conservative town claim, Wimberley is known for many things, being a conservative town is not one of them. Hays county voted democrat in 2018, 2020 Senate races and Democrat in the presidential election. I realize Wimberly is not Hays county, but painting it as being known as a conservative town is a fantasy — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8081:8740:D24:29D3:6577:F7C0:4D0A (talk) 20:22, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
