Importance[edit]

In the end of 2009 there was no wind power in Malta.ref. Wind in power 2009 European statistics EWEA February 2010 However, if the potential is as told large, the article is in my opinion more important. New information of the reasons for the barriers would be valuable information in the Wikipedia.

Further, this is part of the project: Category:Wind power in the European Union. No wind power in Malta is also important information and link in this category. I tried to include all European Union areas, when available. Links in Wikipedia were naturally my first source of information. Help in the page development is wellcomed.

This article could be proceeded with the EU energy regulations for Malta and feed-in tariff in Malta. Finland and Malta were the only EU countries that used mainly tax incentives in 2006. ref.Evaluation of different feed-intariff design options - Best practice paper for the International Feed-in Cooperation Fraunhofer Institute 2006 pages 1, 4-14, 8 (map), 14 (tariff), summary 68 Watti Renew (talk) 19:39, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I consider:
  • Each country has equal right for their own article in the series: "Wind power in "country" located e.g. in the Category:Wind power in the European Union. I call it neutrality.
  • Incompleteness or present state of an article is inot an adequate reason for deletion. New articles may start as short but cooperation within time adds more information.
  • The wind power volume is not sufficient reason for deletion since it would leave gaps in Wikipedia information. There is large potential for wind power in Malta. The publicity of the present state in the media, including Wikipedia, may promote the wind power development. Watti Renew (talk) 13:51, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
