Why is this a page?

Does every struggling actress get one or just when they have a notable mom ??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.44.75.211 (talk) 12:36, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notability isn't inherited, so I suppose the question is whether her range of roles reaches WP:NACTOR. It's a close call, and I'm minded to close the May 2017 merge proposal which was placed here without a case being made. There is a rather mocking (even nasty) published interview, and the agency page lists a number of roles which might reach "Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions." Closed the merge proposal, given that no case made for the merge and no support. Klbrain (talk) 18:58, 1 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea what the goal of your merge proposal was, what it was called or where it was posted, but this case requires reexamination.
It appears to me that you are misinterpreting WP:NACTOR. It isn't "a close call", and there is no evidence that she has "had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions". The one cited source lists a single role in a not-noteworthy telefilm starring her mother in which Winslow had 12th billing. Of the handful of other roles listed in the article--none of which are supported by citation--only one, Veep, a multiple award-winning sitcom that ran seven seasons, is noteworthy. Corbett's involvement was a guest role as an unnamed character in only four episodes. Corbett is not mentioned at all in that article or in any of its linked subsidiaries.
Based on this, the subject fails notability and the article should be a candidate for speedy deletion. Canonblack (talk) 00:53, 6 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
