Cite sources ?[edit]

Don't understand how sources can be cited when the source for the "Plot" summary and all the details contained therein is the book the entry is about ! ! ! Should there have been a "[1]" with every detail or sentence or paragraph or . . . you get the idea . . . with the cited source for "[1]" being the book itself?
