Current Status[edit]

It was my understanding it had been sold to Merseytravel after they were announced as prefered bidder however I went back and double checked and there was no record of the sale having taken place, the last document I could find on the subject was this http://democracy.wirral.gov.uk/mgConvert2PDF.aspx?ID=14532 Is there any more recent records of the sale process?
