Comments:

  1.  Done In the sentence "Like all Wisconsin state highways, WIS 131 is maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT).", is it nessecary to use the phrase "like all Wisconsin state highways"? It sounds awkward
  2.  Done In first sentence of route description, "and" is unnessecary
  3.  Done "WIS 131 begins to follow the Kickapoo River here; it continues to run along the river through Wilton." rewrite to "WIS 131 begins to follow the Kickapoo River, running along the river through Wilton."
  4.  Done Change "meeting up with" to "intersecting"
  5.  Done Combine the sentences "WIS 131 and US 61 enter Readstown as Soldiers Grove Road. They meet US 14 at a three-way intersection, and WIS 131 leaves US 61 and follows US 14 east for 0.4 miles (1 km)."
  6.  Done References should not be in the middle of a sentence, move to the end
  7.  Done Try to be consistient with wikilinking in the article. For example, you use "WIS X" for most state routes, but wikilink WIS 33 as "Wisconsin Highway 33"
  8.  Done "where it intersects and becomes concurrent with WIS 71." souds awkward, try repharsing
  9.  Done In the sentence "WIS 131 follows WIS 71 northeast out of Wilton as Walker Street; the two highways are then concurrent for 3.4 miles (5 km)." remove semicolon, add "and" before "the two highways", and remove "then"
  10.  Done Can you clarify what a Long Truck Route is?
  11.  Done Change "south Tomah" to "southern Tomah"
  12.  Done In sentence "This section of WIS 131 is the busiest of its entire route; according to WisDOT, the average daily traffic on this part of the highway in 2006 was 7200 vehicles" change secong "of" to "along"
  13.  Done Combine last two sentences in route description
  14.  Done You use "it" too much in the route description. Try using more specific terms such as "the route" or "WIS 131"
  15. Is there a picture of the actual road that can be added to the article? -- Unfortunately there isn't a picture of the actual road. I came up with nothing on Commons, Flickr, or any of the other free-image sources, and I'm unable to take one myself.
  16.  Done Can more information about the landscape the route passes through be added to the article, such as whether it passes through farmland, residential areas, or woodland?
  17.  Done "took on its route" sounds awkward, rephrase
  18.  Done A reference is needed for the first paragraph in the history
  19.  Done "due to be flooded" sounds awkward, rephrase
  20.  Done In Major intersections table, intersections with two routes should be on one line, for example, {{jct|state=WI|US|14}}
    {{jct|state=WI|US|61}} should be {{jct|state=WI|US|14|US|61}}

I am placing the article on hold Dough4872 (talk) 03:04, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
