Reference links[edit]

hi,

i'm still a wiki noob, so please bear with me.

i noticed that the links in the references section of the wolf creek dam article resulted in 404 errors. the actual links seemed to end in ".htm|" (note the vertical bar. when i manually removed the vertical bar, the ".htm" links worked ok. i tried to fix the article by clicking "edit", but the result didn't make sense to me. i assume i just need to learn more about wiki and its special markup stuff. anyhow, i'm making this comment in the hope someone else will make the nedded corrections...

That looks like my mistake; I'm still learning some of the ins and outs. There's a temporary fix in place - but you can see its not perfect in terms of presentation, yet. Thanks for the heads up, though! --Zuejay 19:04, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Third Party References[edit]

I added a link to the Popular Mechanics website, as I'd consider them a reliable third-party publication. I came here looking for more information after reading the referenced page. I also added a bit about warning sirens being installed and referenced a couple local TV stations as well. Fourmica 19:50, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cemetery reinterments[edit]

In the early 80's it was discovered that some cemeteries were not moved according to the contracts with the ACE. The water levels were lowered when dealing with some of the seepage issues and several cemeteries came back above water (maybe 5?). There are several newspaper articles and some investigations in regards to this. Someone with knowledge of all this should add a section 12.189.108.226 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 11:37, 8 July 2010 (UTC).[reply]

I can't find anything about it. If you can, I can add it.--NortyNort (talk) 10:52, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
