Do clubs or teams participate in tournaments[edit]

Having a look at the articles of the sides who participated in the 2021 editions, the ones from the US are written with "team" while the other two have "club" in the respective lead text. Their official website uses a mixture of club and team when describing who participated. In terms of what I think, I'm inclined to go with "team" based on what sources in the recent tournament says. Further to that, clubs field teams, and teams attend tournaments, not clubs. The men's first and second teams are not playing here. The development league teams are not here. So while the clubs are represented, it is teams who play. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:58, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
