"History" section does not come from a neutral point of view[edit]

The "history" section of this article, particularly the last 5 paragraphs pertaining to the ongoing war in Syria, feel non-encyclopedic and biased. Using the term "freedom fighters" to refer to the Syrian opposition is very out of place. Claims about how Syrian rebels "targeted hospitals, schools and the country's infrastructure", regardless of whether or not they are true, are not sourced and aren't very relevant to the primary subject of the article, which is women and women's rights in Syria. Sections about abuses of women perpetrated by Syrian rebels could be valuable additions to the article, but they are not sourced and are thrown in with a bunch of content seemingly written from a pro Syrian government point of view.

A phrase like "despite the numerous claims of the MSM; throughout the entire country, many Syrian women are pro-government and pro-Bashar Al-Assad and vehement supporters of the Syrian Arab Army." serves to make the article look biased, especially when it is completely vague and unsourced. Who is "the MSM", what are their "numerous claims", and what is your reputable proof that they are incorrect? It has an almost conspiratorial tone that does not serve to improve the article.

The paragraph about the "all female brigade unit" could probably be a fine addition to the article, but like most of the other paragraphs in this section it seems as if it was written to portray the Syrian government and the Syrian Arab Army in a positive light rather than to provide a neutral and encyclopedic description of women in Syria.

The paragraph "They are applauded for their bravery and dedication to the homeland by the Syrian populace, echoing the bravery of the women in Syria throughout its long, ancient history" should not be in any neutral article, it is a completely subjective and unsourced statement.

I understand that anything surrounding Syria can be highly controversial, and I know that many people have strong opinions about the conflict going on there, but Wikipedia should seek to provide a neutral view wherever possible, especially since many people will read articles like these as one of their only sources of information on something they don't know much about. I am new to Wikipedia discussion and I do not really know too much about the subject, these are just some things I noticed reading through. Any additions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
