Merger proposal[edit]

I believe it makes sense to merge female entrepreneur into women in business. This article is currently thin on material, but it has a lot of potential to cover women in leadership roles in both large and small companies. Instead of splitting these topics into two not-well-connected articles, we can combine them into one better article. Dreamyshade (talk) 23:36, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Support, as female entrepreneur needs a lot of improvement to stand as a separate article. heather walls (talk) 21:50, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose, At the time of the request the result would have been to merge the articles, however an edit-a-thon made female entrepreneur into a much bigger article which has continued to be edited and grow such that this article is now a very poor mishmash of female entrepreneur and Gender representation on corporate boards of directors. Style[edit]

This article is a mess. A disproportionate analysis of the governmental initiatives of the glorious nation of Kazakhstan and black hair styling business.

Let us plug in some numbers: the proportion of turnover & income of women's business compared to total GNPs, global statistics and maps, etc. Zezen (talk) 10:26, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps, there needs to be much broader insight of entrepreneurship in the Global South, not just Kazakhstan. Dalanlaughlin (talk) 02:28, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Developing Countries Section[edit]

I have added a section on Kenya to give a more rounded view on women in business in other countries. I also gave 'Kazakhstan' its own title as well. I have added a small section on Nigeria and removed it from the lead.Lattecoffee (talk) 06:06, 24 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
