Controversy[edit]

I removed some unsourced controvery, opinion, and commentary from this article. No doubt these controversies exist to some degree, thus finding supporting citations for them shouldn't be all that difficult. Rklawton 17:49, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The family pricing information does include a family of two adults and any of their children or grandchildren. That is why I said a typical family. There are other admission tickets and various prices, however I thought a general interest of "how much?" should be included but the reader could investigate further if they wanted more. The problem is the word "typical." It's too ambiguous. Rklawton 02:35, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The following was removed: "Wonders of Wildlife still seems to be limping along with frequent upper-management staffing changes and very little events or changes in exhibits. However it has become increasingly reclusive and has gone almost three years not releasing any attendance or financial reports to the media after being fairly transparent up until the restructuring of its bonds in 2003." I'm not sure how it is possible to cite a negative. Any help showing me how I can have a citation that the museum has not released staffing, financial or attendance information since 2003 would be appreciated.Durbinmj 02:34, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parts of this article still read like an unsourced hatchet job. Given the nature of the museum, sources shouldn't be all that hard to find. Unfortunately, Springfield seems short on on-line local press. Any help? Rklawton 03:37, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture caption[edit]

Rklawton, the photo you have labeled as "Shark Tank" is actually known as the "Out to Sea Gallery." Durbinmj 02:09, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I've changed the caption both here and on the image page. Rklawton 02:35, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Updates post-renovation[edit]

This article needs updated information. For example, it indicates the location "is planned to reopen on September 21, 2017" - but this is now in the past; the renovations have now re-opened. More details on exactly what is included (the new Wildlife Galleries vs. Aquarium Adventure, for example), and updated pictures, would also be helpful.
