I have reverted the edits by User:She Who Photographs as I feel that they are not notable for inclusion in the article. Her insertion of POV text to Image:Woodburn Company Stores.jpg copied from a Yahoo Group makes me believe that she is using the article as a soapbox. As for the items deleted:
a shop lifting ring of that size is nothing extraordinary
a mall opening early on Black Friday is typical
the casual sex story is not notable within the casual sex scene
the failure of a bus line is not notable as it is not the first mall bus line nor particularly innovative
Please feel free to discuss the removal. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:36, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the removal of these non-notable facts. They should certainly be discussed here before being added again. --John (talk) 05:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I boldly removed the shoplifting ring and Mall opening/attendance information. A bunch of people went to a mall. Some people stole things. This isn't encyclopedic... this is simply life. If consensus is to restore for some reason, the ridiculous lead ins need to be trimmed from the refs. Beyond being ugly and redundant with the articles, they are a copyright violation.--Isotope23talk 13:46, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
