This article should not be merged. Though similar, World Radiocommunication Conference(WRC) and World administrative radio conference (WARC) are not the same thing. Anonym1ty 04:30, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- I have added a reference to the ITU history page, which highlights the ITU restructuring in 1992 which resulted in the change of name. I have failed to find a definitive document stating that WARC became WRC but have contact with G3PSM who is Region 1 manager of IARU who might be able to clarify. Whether we merge or not is a mute point, it is already leading to confusion and I have changed a few links which should have gone to WRC and not WARC. Fact remains, there were no WARCs after WARC-92, the next one was WRC-95. Dsergeant 08:57, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
