The WKTL is an affiliate-like commercial enterprise, striving to establish a ruling roof on top of existing commercial knife throwing venues. In essence, those venues are like bowling places, but with knives - you go there for a social fun evening.

However, WKTL is not connected with the sport of knife throwing. The sport of knife throwing is practiced since decades in many countries worldwide, with a focus on a friendly sports spirit between the athletes, organised in local sports associations, with a diverse set of competition events. The sports of knife throwing holds its own competitions, with for example the 2018 World Chamionship in Rymarov (organised by EuroThrowers.org) attracting 158 sports throwers from 15 countries (Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Russia, USA,...). I would like to urge this differnece between sports knife throwing and the WKTL to be included, if an article on WKTL is deemed to be publishable.
