I am curious to know what you base the assumption that the Worms of the Earth were once men on. As far as I can figure, they are simply the descendents of the race of reptile people that King Kull rooted out and nearly drove to extinction during his reign, which of course came before that of Bran. There is a similar statement in the Wik. article: Picts In Fantasy, and I am starting to wonder if I am crazy or wrong or what.
