Wot's... Uh the Deal with the title?[edit]

Anyone know why it is named this? (other than it is a line in the song) Why it is not spelled "What's" and why there is a pause word in there? Strictly curious. --Billy Nair (talk) 00:54, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't seen the film, but I presume it's a spoken line in the dialogue, and is spoken that way, and is perhaps a significant line? (Just a guess!) Altername explanation could be, it's an in-joke about someone the group knows who uses this expression a lot. Question mark, or no question mark?[edit]

I have Obscured by Clouds on CD, and the title does not have a question mark. I don't know whether or not it did on the original vinyl issue though, as this article would lead you to believe. Based on an image I found during a Google search, it doesn't look like there's a question mark on the old vinyl version either. The image I found was a German pressing though. Can anyone verify whether or not there was a question mark in the original title? BucsWeb (talk) 13:55, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gosh, you're absolutely right, there is no question mark on my UK vinyl copy, on either the cover or the label. We need to change it. If you want to do it, go ahead, or I can do it if you prefer. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 15:07, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Guy Pratt, 10 years old?[edit]

Anachronism or deserves a section, IMHO. 02:41, 7 February 2011 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.204.203.172 (talk)

Bass[edit]

Somebody inserted an unsourced claim that David Gilmour played bass on this song, so I've removed it, and whilst he was photographed playing Roger Waters' bass during the sessions, it doesn't necessarily mean he played it on the final release. These photos could've been songwriting sessions since Rick Wright and Nick Mason were seated at keyboard instruments. 60.240.8.249 (talk) 07:06, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
