To the constributors to Vaux Moise page: that article merged with this[edit]

@Perspicaris, NJT90, WereSpielChequers, PPEMES, Od Mishehu, The Eloquent Peasant, M.k.m2003, and Bruxton: hi. You have created and edited the article Vaux Moise. This article covers the exactly same topic, they needed to be merged. Wu'ayra (al-Wu'ayra, al-Wu'aira) is the correct English transliteration of the Arabic name used in the academic literature on the subject, so I brought over the material from that page to this rather than the other way round. I trust Pringle to know better than the guidebooks and tourist leaflets about Crusader sources, so in Medieval French, the language used by most of the Crusaders beside Latin, the name was li Vaux Moysi. Vaux Moise is a mix with modern French, so inaccurate and not useful beyond having it as a redirect for those who look it up that way. I have set two more redirects for "Li Vaux Moysi" and "Wu'aira", I hope that covers all the bases. Thank you and see you around, Arminden (talk) 01:10, 4 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
