National Guard units are not "militia" by law[edit]

The Law establishing the National guard as reserve units of them US military that are provided by the states, and for the states use during peacetime specifically mentions that they are not part of the militia mentioned in the US Constitution Bill of Rights. 2600:6C67:9540:1226:CCF6:5CAA:9EB5:FBB (talk) 22:34, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
