Soft X-ray emission spectroscopy is a short unsourced article about a sub-topic of X-ray emission spectroscopy, merging makes sense, but should also include the addition of proper sources. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:14, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, IMO, a topic should not span multiple stub and start length articles. It is best to have all information on one article until such time as a content or size based split is appropriate. Footlessmouse (talk) 19:40, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Dodger67:, these pages are perfect examples of articles which do not need to be discussed in advance. You are allowed to blank-and-redirect pages and merge them together if you do not believe anyone will object. Looking at the history of the pages, only a couple people have ever edited them, that's why there is no discussion. Please feel free to merge the contents, see WP:BLANKANDREDIRECT and WP:MERGETEXT for additional information. Footlessmouse (talk) 19:46, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Footlessmouse I don't know enough about the subject to do such a merge. Ideally someone familiar with the topic should do it. If you're confident please go ahead and do it. Otherwise dropping a note at relevant wikiprojects might get an appropriate response. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 20:09, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
