Xorg vs The Open Group[edit]

They're different (The Open Group is not the maintainer). The closest would be Xorg TEDickey (talk) 22:18, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, my bad. The Open Group was the parent of the old X.org; the X.Org Foundation is the owner of the current one. I've amended the article accordingly. -- Finlay McWalterჷTalk 22:27, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

However, I've read more than one comment that the foundation itself is not the maintainer, but acts as the sponsor. There's no topic for "Xorg" per se, but "maintained" is done by "Xorg" TEDickey (talk) 23:56, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
