Merge?[edit]

Unless/until we have actual evidence that Musk will follow through with his "everything app" plans, perhaps this article should just be merged into Twitter, Inc., and that article moved to this page's title. InfiniteNexus (talk) 00:43, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

See the discussion on that page if you haven't already. There has been a split and some move-warring. Funcrunch (talk) 00:48, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was indeed unaware of that discussion. Perhaps we can wait a couple of months and see what Musk does before deciding what to do. InfiniteNexus (talk)
Frankly, it was claimed that Twitter, Inc. had ceased to exist, and one of the various "X" companies had legally succeeded it. Until that LEGAL CLAIM can be disproved, the entities are legally separate. ToNeverFindTheMets (talk) 02:42, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree, these are two different companies. I agree with ToNeverFindTheMets on this. WiinterU (talk) 16:19, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New CEO[edit]

On May 11, prior to Musk's confirmation that Linda Yaccarino will be the new CEO of X Corp. and Twitter, he said that she will start as CEO in six weeks. Until the start of her tenure is confirmed, the infobox should display Musk as CEO instead. [edit]

What is the official logo of X Corp? What is now shown in the entry is the logo of the social network, not the company. Is it perhaps the textual and blue logo on Wikidata?--Giammarco Ferrari (talk) 22:54, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Currently no one knows (and frankly I doubt Elon Musk himself knows except for 30 seconds before he decides stuff). Until it's reliably sourced elsewhere that it's also the logo of the company, best to have nothing as we've had multiple incidents now of fan creations like the one mentioned being presented as official. Second that. QRep2020 (talk) 03:21, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
X Holding Corp -> X Corp. -> X is the hierarchy. We don't know the logo of X Holdings Corp. But the logo of X Corp. is the same as that of X. Go to https://x.com/x: that is the page for X Corp, not the service (clue: the golden checkmark says "This account is verified because it's an official organization on X") Ptrnext (talk) 04:14, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Paragraph about user blocking feature[edit]

The paragraph about the user blocking feature seems to be about the social media service offering, not the company. I suggest it be moved from this article into the Twitter article. — BarrelProof (talk) 01:52, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Economist[edit]

Do You think that the information concerning social media ethics and antisemitism written by The Economist should be within the article(?):

Other holding-company names[edit]

Another one, which may be a subsidiary or former name of X Holdings Corp. is/was X Corp. Solutions, Inc. (short form X Corp. Solutions. There's another one showing up in legal documents as X Holdings I, Inc. (X Holdings I for short). All of these should be briefly covered in the article somewhere, and all should redirect here after that, along with spelling variants like X Corp, X Corporation, X Holdings Corp, X Holdings Corporation, X Corp Solutions, X Corp Solutions, Inc, X Corp Solutions Inc, X Corp. Solutions Inc., X Corp Solutions, Inc., X Corp Solutions Inc., X Corp. Solutions Inc, X Corp Solutions, Inc., X Holdings I Inc., X Holdings I, Inc, X Holdings I Inc. Will leave that to people actually researching this company in detail. For all I know there is/was also an "X Holdings II, Inc.", etc.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  19:42, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Integrate controversy page into main article[edit]

Why is there a separate controversies page for this company? Twitter had no controversies page and it had a litany of known controversies. I think the section should be integrated with the other sub-topic. AtypicalPhantom (talk) 03:25, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
