i have moved the following words from the article page as it is about a music band and not the book; if this band is notable it should have a standalone article otherwise.....

X-isle was also the name of a progressive rock band from Long Island, New York from 1985-1988 whose music challenged the metal head establishment of Sachem High School during the time of the metal heads and hair bands. X-Isles's members included over their three year history: Mike "the Ledge" Barics, Rich Bova, Rob Rodrigeuz, Norman"Norm" Issakson, Freeze, Mark Hochberg. Brian Beine, Janine, and Adam. Their original song list included: Surfs Up, Dreamlover, Crossfire, Something About Your Eyes, I Found My Love For You, and In the Dark Times. Sadly the group officially disbanded in 1988, though their fans still remember "that beach song" 30 years later. Mike's "the ledge" guitar is currently being preeseved by their trusted roadie Dan Linahan with hopes of one day there will be a reunion tour.

In September 2015 Mike and Rich, the two founding members of X-Isle, met for the first time in 20 years and rumors have already begun about a possible reunion tour in 2017.
