XiangfanXiangyang — Xiangfan is officially changing its name to Xiangyang, according to report. Reference: [1] Python eggs (talk) 13:26, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • This move request was also in the uncontroversials list. I moved Xiangfan to Xiangyang, Hubei because Xiangyang is a disambig page, before I saw that it is also a discussed move, sorry. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 21:22, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose many other uses, in other provinces that are not Hubei. 64.229.102.230 (talk) 04:43, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
move has already been conducted. article is now at "Xiangyang, Hubei", which makes it clear which province we are talking about here. the former Xiangyang District of Xiangfan has been renamed to Xiangzhou District, per the news release given above. Therefore the at-first-glance very confusing "Xiangyang, Hubei" unequivocally refers to Xiangyang Prefecture, which this article is about. --HXL's Roundtable, and Record 04:46, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
