Sounds like an ad...[edit]

Sounds a bit like an ad, but if made more like an encyclopaedia entry then I'd vote for keeping it... --Romanski 15:24, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it should stay minus the last paragraph. Up until then, it simply describes the function and features of both versions of the software. Seems very accurate. Carweav 20:15, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can't see anything advert-like about the article in its present form, and certainly see no reason to delete it. Flapdragon 14:45, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No word from whoever thought the article sounded like an advert so have removed the unhelpful banner. Flapdragon (talk) 08:41, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trail Period[edit]

The software's oficial wesbite says the free version has a 21-day free trial. What happens after the 21 days? Is the program still fully functional? I think this information should be included in the description of the software. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.91.95.4 (talk) 13:19, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Explorer2x file manager.png[edit]

Image:Explorer2x file manager.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 21:37, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Praise from a long-term registered user[edit]

I really like twin-pane file managers, and had been using Total Commander (registered) for some time. However, I had known about 2xExplorer, and when it came out as xplorer², I adopted it (and registered it) as my primary f.m. The only way in which it is inferior to T.C. is the file-rename function; I have been using T.C. for difficult cases. Otherwise, it was excellent. (Recently, have been using Linux exclusively, after carelessly wiping my partition table.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikevich (talkcontribs) 18:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
