  • The merge proposal was added after the move proposal. Dy031101 (talk) 03:12, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • Since it was the same ship, it looks like the merge would be a good idea, but under what title - the Chinese name or the Japanese one?--Kotniski (talk) 13:17, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Look - this has been on the RM backlog for ages; since the decision is to merge, I'm removing this request just to get it off the backlog list. If anyone wants to move this page for such time as it takes the merge to be completed, they can do so with an uncontroversial move request or using the {{db-move}} template. --Kotniski (talk) 16:05, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP: Japan Assessment Commentary[edit]

I rated the article Start class, and removed Wikiproject banners and task forces related to China. There is already a seperate article on the Chinese cruiser Ping Hai, therefore it seems redundant to have this article picked up by both WP:Japan and WP:China. If the articles are merged, then of course both wikiprojects would have an interest in the one article. However, the name of the article seems like it would be a point of strong contention.
