... that when choreographer Justin Peck requested to use Sufjan Stevens's music for the ballet Year of the Rabbit, Stevens was initially "flabbergasted"? Source: "SUFJAN STEVENS You know, actually, when you first approached me I was rolling my eyes, because I was so flabbergasted that you wanted to use this music that most of my fans disliked and that was an anomaly for me." ([1])
ALT1:... that musician Sufjan Stevens, who initially disliked ballet, allowed his music to be used in Year of the Rabbit after choreographer Justin Peck invited him to various performances? Source: "But when Justin invited me to do the “Rabbit” ballet, he persuaded me to have an education and kind of curated my experience. He would say, come and watch this, watch that, then we would talk about it." ([2])

The article is long enough and new enough. I assume good faith because it is required that I subscribe to the New York Times after I viewed one of the references. I prefer ALT1 and the hook is directly cited. A QPQ has been completed. ALT1 is approved. SL93 (talk) 06:19, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
