I don't know what to cite as the reference for this. I found it on WALS (http://wals.info/feature/45A#3/2.11/165.94 , under "Politeness distinctions in pronouns"), but it looks like a quotation from somewhere else, not indicated. phma (talk) 01:59, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
