Untitled[edit]

I'm not sure that HoTmetaL was the first commercial HTML editor, so I've described it as "one of the first" for now. Rodney Boyd 16:31, 7 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the following sentence: "Prior to his death in 1996 Yuri's focus on "SGML on the Web" was to become the precursor to the widely used eXtensible Markup Language (XML)." because I don't know whether it has any real meaning or basis in fact. 207.176.159.90 01:47, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great Job on the edits Rodney[edit]

Great Job on the edits Rodney, I've just added a photo as well. As for the SGML on the Web comment, if you were to ask John Bosak he certainly would describe the SGML on the Web project as the precursor to XML.

If it's generally thought to be true, then I have no problem with it. Rodney Boyd 16:55, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Patrick Dempster?[edit]

Google has very little to say about Patrick Dempster. [1] Most sources do not list him as a co-founder of SoftQuad. [2] [3]
